You’ve heard plenty about my new record Vallecula, but did you know that I have another album that’s just finished the writing stages? It’s crazy because all the Sleep Walkers have not heard Vallecula yet. (and I’m very sorry for that!!) I want to wait for both of these so everything is legitimate and right. That way it will be killer by the time the final cuts reach your ears! Back to the newest bits, I Have new songs written that follow the central themes that I’ve always talked about: Insanity, loneliness, determination, nature, joy, anger, frustration, failure, success, and so much more. The writing is hopefully maturing compared to my older records, such as Red, The Raggedy Man, or any of the other Demos. 

Last of all, I want to thank every Sleep Walker for their ongoing support. Being a musician is tough, from the financial situations to the amount of doubt that people throw at you. For at least a handful of people listening and showing up at shows, (which are few for the moment) is just groundbreaking to me.

I really need to be more disciplined when it comes to this whole recording thing! Reason for delays: Sick, School theater production, history paper, english paper, other misc. school work, The tv series Lost, Nostalgia, and sleep. Hopefully more shows soon though, I’ll see if I can get any video of the events that might go on. 

In other news, I’ve got a fairly interesting story, I’ve been searching through my old things and have decided to brush off the old Game Boy. It’s been a long while and since I’ve been playing my NES more than my Xbox I figured I’d go nostalgia hunting. I went to a used video game store and bought up a copy of Pokemon Blue Version and started playing. Well, as all children of the 90s and mid to late 80s will tell you, we grew up with this game. It’s like an extension of our genetic makeup. 

Anyways, I was digging in the attic to find more of the like when I came across the gamer’s handbook for Pokemon that came in the box with the game. I hadn’t seen this thing in about ten years. I opened it up to read inside that the copy of the game that I had as a kid was Red version not Blue. My brain exploded at this point. It’s funny how the littlest details can get jumbled up in your mind after so long. This ignited a spark that seemed contagious, nostalgia hunting was my game and I will catch ‘em ALL! 

If only I could go back and tell myself not to get rid of these things that I miss now, like a certain toy or piece of clothing. I know that it’s gone now, but at least I have artifacts leading me to that memory. It also makes me realize what a wonderful childhood I had and so many special moments were shared with people I can still call my friends. How fortunate I was to have these memories. 

Wonderful beautiful life, having everything without having everything. Us fortunate bunch of rebels.

Fantastic February is looming over me.There’s no way that I can get it done because I’ve been feeling ill for the past while. So sorry sleep walkers, I’ll try to have it done by the end of the week. Once again accept my most sincere apology. It’s just impossible right now.

Fantastic February is an event that I dreamed up where I will release studio acoustic sessions of all my new songs from the upcoming release “Vallecula.” I’m stoked to do this and I can’t wait for you guys to hear!

I’ve been listening to Anthony Green’s sophomore release “Beautiful Things” since I quite literally ran to the post office to get it. It has sent shivers down my spine listening to the vinyl through my Skullcandy Skullcrushers. It is a beautiful work of art.

This piece has made me realize that no matter how wonderful, or how horrible your life is, Beautiful things ARE coming. That no matter what things are going to constantly get better. 

Anthony conveys emotion like no one I’ve ever heard. He is truly his own person and a major inspiration to me and my music. each track literally takes a hold of me and I just HAVE to move or sing or bob my head and close my eyes. 

Even now as I type it I’m listening to it for the seventh time today. I love it so much and I definitely recommend it to everyone.
